Anna University includes Gita & Upanishads in BTech curriculum

An Anna University department's decision to make it mandatory for third-semester BTech students to study the Bhagavad Gita as a paper has triggered unease in academic circles and drew a protest from DMK chief M K Stalin, who saw it as an attempt to impose Sanskrit.
